Freeport [pirating adventures part 3]

Our first port of call was Freeport in the Bahamas. 

We LOVED the beach at Freeport. It was beautiful. All of the houses were so colorful, it was my dream to have a camera there.The taxi ride to the beach area was interesting and informative about life there.

The one down-side was that it was very hot. Sunburn definitely happened here. The most awesome part of Freeport was that we found a hotel pool right near the path to the public beach. Did I mention it was hot? Well...we saw one family from the cruise get it, and that's all we needed to jump right on in ourselves. The 5 minutes we were in the water before we got kicked out was glorious. The guard came immediately after and put up a "pool closed" sign. Don't worry, picture included. 

That would be our best pirating memory of the trip.
