oh how we loved nassau.
we got off the ship to some beautiful colors EVERYWHERE. i gripped my camera tight and knew it was going to be a good day.
and i was right.
we walked around the nassau side of the island for about a half hour, then jumped on a ferry to paradise island. [if you ever go on a cruise to nassau, take the ferry boat. trust me. $1 cheaper, it may take longer, but it is great.]
i need to mention that our ferry boat's name was Pirate Princess. fate.
our entertaining ferry "guide" told us about all the history and pointed out Nicholas Cage's house. we liked him.
so we get to paradise island. it's beautiful. i can't even explain. flowers, colors, trees everywhere.
we pirated our way into Atlantis. good choice. we did get stopped before we got to some really cool things, but saw a good amount of it.
we then headed back to the ship for lunch [nobody made a dollar on us our whole trip] where we saw some interesting things on the ship's balcony.
and that was nassau! here are some pictures that didn't fit in with the rest :)
