Happy St. Patty's Day!

 Happy St. Patrick's Day! 

Well, it is starting to feel like spring here in KY and i love it! St. Patrick's day is a little more exciting for me this year, because...SURPRISE! turns out I'm Irish! I grew up thinking I was 50% Scottish, and it was discovered in the past year or so that our family just re-located to Scotland from Ireland for some reason, so...there's that. :) 

I really do think St. Patrick's day is a cool thing, have you all ever read about St. Patrick? He really loved the Lord and brought the gospel to Ireland. Really cool stuff. I read part of the history [here] today.

Another reason this is exciting, is that my brother Scott is going over to Ireland for a mission trip in a week-ish! He's been before, and loves it. I loved his pictures. I want to go REALLY bad :) They're doing cool things in Northern Ireland among the Catholic/Protestant groups. 


Well, that's all I have today! Note to nurses: if you work with kids, do not wear all pink to work on St. Patrick's Day. It's not a crowd pleaser. (on that note, I survived my first shift on my own today! treat..it was only a 4 hour shift, but it was a good warm up for my first 12 on my own tomorrow) :)
