playlist tuesdays

it is hard to pick a day that you have to commit to. my friends do sweet things with their blogs weekly, and i always love them. i haven't really been looking for a reason to have a weekly theme, but this one just came to me. 

i have a God-given ability to make playlists. who knows why? i don't. just happens to be my non-spiritual spiritual gift. do you have a non-spiritual spiritual gift? my friends all do. from guessing on tests (jen) to persuasion (angie), i have some gifted friends.

it all stated with mix cd's before the days of listening to an ipod in the car. i have the ability to put songs together well, so why not share it with the world? 

this will be my weekly addition to this blog. i will share the top 3 songs on repeat in my car each week. no, that doesn't equal a playlist, but let me tell you. that is where it starts. a good song base to work with :) 

this week, you ask? 

1.beast of burden-- the rolling stones (i can already feel some of my friend rolling their eyes at me. i am a lover of all old music, i cannot change that)

2.glory to God forever-- fee (they've been playing it at church a lot, and i love it.)

3.brighter than sunshine-- aqualung (its just good)

i have to be careful here. another key to a good playlist is songs that withstand the test of time. with the exception of #1, these songs are newer to me, and so i can't get enough of them. those can be tricky on playlists.
